The President signed Executive Order On One-time Payments to Certain Groups of Citizens of the Russian Federation in Connection with the 80th Anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941–1945.
Under the Executive Order, one-time payments to combat veterans and homefront workers in connection with the 80th anniversary of Victory will be made in April and May 2025, ahead of Victory Day celebrations.
A sum of 80,000 rubles will be paid to disabled and other combat veterans of the Great Patriotic War, child prisoners of concentration camps, ghettos and other detention facilities of the Nazis and their allies during WWII, the widows of servicemen who perished during the war with Finland, the Great Patriotic War and the war with Japan, as well as the widows of the disabled and other participants in the Great Patriotic War.
In addition, 55,000 rubles will be paid to the veterans of the Great Patriotic War listed in Subclause 4 of Clause 1 of Article 2 of the Federal Law On Veterans, and to former adult prisoners of Nazi concentration camps, prisons and ghettos.
This Executive Order covers Russian citizens who live permanently in the Russian Federation, the Republic of Latvia, the Republic of Lithuania and the Republic of Estonia, as well as the Republic of Abkhazia, the Republic of South Ossetia and Transnistria.
The Government of the Russian Federation has been instructed to determine the procedure and conditions for making these payments.
