Vladimir Putin signed Federal Law On Amendments to Article 21 of the Federal Law On Foreign Investment in the Russian Federation.
The Federal Law clarifies certain provisions of the Federal Law On Foreign Investment in the Russian Federation as regards provision of information contained in the state register of accredited branches and representative offices of foreign legal entities.
A copy of the register entry or certificate of absence of such information in the form of electronic document must be provided free of charge within one business day after the relevant request is received by the authorised federal executive body.
Copies of information or certificates in electronic document form shall be signed by the operator of the authorised federal executive body’s information system using a reinforced qualified electronic signature.
