Vladimir Putin signed the Federal Law On Amendments to the Federal Law On Procedures for Foreign Investment in Business Entities of Strategic Importance for National Defence and State Security.
Amendments to the Federal Law On Procedures for Foreign Investment in Business Entities of Strategic Importance for National Defence and State Security aim to exclude the possibility of non-compliance with the requirements of the aforementioned Federal Law by foreign investors by temporarily transferring the right to dispose of voting shares or stakes in a business entity of strategic importance for national defence and state security.
It also clarifies the provisions defining the attributes of control over such a business entity and the provisions on transactions subject to prior approval.
