Vladimir Putin signed Federal Law On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of the Russian Federation to Improve Tourism Legislation.
The Federal Law aims to enhance the responsibility of tourist market players and ensure better legal protection for tourists traveling outside the Russian Federation.
With this aim in view, the law specifies the terms and conditions for conducting tour operator activities, the powers of the tour operator association in the sphere of international tourism, introduces requirements to contracts for organised tours, and enhances administrative liability for violating Russian Federation laws regulating tourist activities.
