Vladimir Putin signed Federal Law On Ratification of the Protocol On Amendments to the Cooperation Agreement between the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Republic of Armenia on Natural Gas, Crude Oil and Uncut Diamond Supplies to the Republic of Armenia of December 2, 2013.
The Protocol was signed in Moscow, on December 29, 2015.
Under the Protocol, the Agreement no longer covers uncut diamonds, since the Republic of Armenia has joined the Treaty on the Eurasian Economic Union.
The Protocol also provides for the listing in the Agreement of crude oil products supplied from the Russian Federation to the Republic of Armenia free from import duties, and includes paraffin on this list.
