The President signed Federal Law On Amendments to the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation and the Criminal Procedure Code of the Russian Federation.
The Federal Law specifies criminal liability for the illegal transfer of various commodities, including strategically important goods and resources, in part, alcohol and tobacco products, across the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) customs border or the state border of the Russian Federation with the EAEU member states.
