Vladimir Putin signed Federal Law On Amendments to Article 98 of the Federal Law On State Control (Supervision) and Municipal Control in the Russian Federation and Certain Legislative Acts of the Russian Federation.
The Federal Law extends for 2024 the set of measures to maintain sustainability of the Russian economy amid pressure of external sanctions and the socioeconomic measures aimed at improving the level of social protection for Russian citizens.
For example, provisions authorising the Government of the Russian Federation to determine specific aspects of organising and exercising state control (supervision) and municipal control are being extended.
At the same time, in accordance with Federal Law, special regulatory measures in the area of corporate relations, procurement of goods, works and services to meet state and municipal needs, in land relations, urban planning, social and labour relations, as well as in granting state or municipal preferences and some other measures remain in force in 2024.
