Vladimir Putin sent greetings to participants and guests in the 43rd General Assembly of the World Trade Centers Association (WTCA) and the Russia in the WTO: The Launch forum.
The President of Russia’s message reads, in part:
“The General Assembly’s programme includes some very relevant, timely issues. Main among them are attracting large investments to the most important sectors of Russian industry and agriculture, supporting small and medium-sized businesses, implementing joint projects and stimulating foreign economic ties in the fundamentally new conditions of Russia’s membership in the World Trade Organisation.
I expect that thanks to its broad representation and engaged, competent discussion of key issues, the work of the General Assembly will be successful and bring results, promoting the growth of our nation’s investment appeal and making a significant input into improving the business climate.”
