Dmitry Medvedev signed Federal Law on Russia’s adherence to the International Convention on the Simplification and Harmonisation of Customs Procedures.
The Federal Law clears the way for Russia to join the International Convention on the Simplification and Harmonisation of Customs Procedures of May 18, 1973 in the version set out in the Protocol on Amendments to the International Convention on the Simplification and Harmonisation of Customs Procedures of June 26, 1999. This is a necessary step for Russia to join the World Trade Organisation.
