Dmitry Medvedev signed Federal Law On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of the Russian Federation.
The federal law is aimed at harmonising Russian legislation and that of the Customs Union within the Eurasian Economic Community (EurAsEC).
The law amends 24 legislative acts, including the Air Code, the Code of Administrative Offences, the Law On Customs Tariffs, the federal laws On Banks and Banking Activities and On Insolvency (Bankruptcy) of Credit Organisations, and several others.
In addition, the federal law makes amendments to Russian legislation on special economic zones to bring it in line with the agreement between the Government of the Russian Federation, the Government of the Republic of Belarus, and the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan of June 18, 2010, On Free (Special) Economic Zones in the Customs Territory of the Customs Union and Customs Procedures in the Free Zone.
