Vladimir Putin signed Federal Law On Ratification of the Protocol to the Agreement on Partnership and Cooperation, Establishing a Partnership between the Russian Federation and the European Communities and their Member States, taking into account the Republic of Croatia’s Accession to the European Union.
The Protocol was signed in Brussels on December 17, 2014.
Following Croatia’s accession to the European Union on July 1, 2013, the Protocol extends to Croatia the Agreement’s provisions, the basic goal of which is to intensify political, trade, economic, research and technology, and cultural relations between its parties.
