Vladimir Putin and Sergei Lebedev discussed issues of developing the Commonwealth of Independent States and integration processes.
Mr Lebedev briefed Mr Putin on the outcomes of the Commonwealth’s activities in 2012 and the main areas of development for integration processes in 2013. The Executive Secretary of the CIS gave a high assessment to Turkmenistan’s chairmanship of the CIS.
During the conversation, the President of Russia stressed the high priority of the CIS agenda in Russian foreign policy and the importance of the work on integration processes within the Commonwealth.
