Vladimir Putin signed Federal Law On Ratification of the Agreement between the Commonwealth of Independent States’ Member Countries on Interstate Search for People.
The Agreement was signed in Moscow on December 10, 2010.
It sets in place the conditions needed to organise cooperation between countries on searching for people hiding from the authorities, evading criminal punishment and enforcement of court decisions, missing persons or persons who have lost contact with relatives, cooperation in establishing the identity of persons unable to communicate information about themselves, and in cases of discovery of unidentified corpses.
