Vladimir Putin signed Federal Law On Ratification of the Agreement on the Procedure for Creating and Using Joint Groups of Border Security Professionals (Experts) for Rapid Response to Security Threats on the External Borders of the CIS Member States.
The agreement was signed in Minsk on October 10, 2014.
The implementation of this agreement will cut the response time and enhance the efficiency of decisions taken to reliably protect the external borders and to strengthen the border security of the member states of the Commonwealth of Independent States.
This agreement is aimed at promoting partnership between the CIS member states in the border security area and is fully in keeping with Russia’s interests.
