The BRICS and Shanghai Cooperation Organisation summits will take place in Ufa, the capital of Bashkortostan, on July 8–10.
Mr Putin will take part in the BRICS and SCO summits as head of state of the country currently presiding in these organisations. The President has planned a number of bilateral meetings with foreign leaders on the summits’ sidelines.
