Vladimir Putin has signed the Executive Order On the Organising Committee to Prepare for and Support the Presidency of the Russian Federation in the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation in 2019–2020 and BRICS in 2020.
According to the document, Chelyabinsk will host the SCO Heads of States Council meeting as well as the meeting of BRICS heads of state in 2020.
With this Executive Order, the President established the Organising Committee to Prepare and Support Russia’s Presidency of the SCO and BRICS and approved the Organising Committee Regulations.
