The state decorations will be presented at a ceremony held in the Kremlin’s St Catherine Hall. More than 40 people will be presented with the Order for Services to the Fatherland, the Order of Courage, the Order for Military Services, the Order of Honour, and the Order of Friendship. Honorary titles for services in various economic sectors and in humanitarian fields will also be conferred.
The recipients include figures from the science and cultural worlds, diplomats, politicians, religious representatives, public figures, athletes, cosmonauts, businesspeople, agriculture sector workers and specialists engaged in high-tech sectors.
