Vladimir Putin signed Executive Order conferring the title of the Hero of Labour of the Russian Federation.
For special labour merits before the country and the people, the title of the Hero of Labour of the Russian Federation has been awarded to: artistic director of the Moscow Sovremennik Theatre Galina Volchek; fitter at the Sevmash Production Association (PO Sevmash, Arkhangelsk Region) Alexei Ivanov; Head Physician of the Regional Hospital and Research Centre No. 1 (Krasnodar Territory) Vladimir Porkhanov; Head of Khangalas Forestry (Republic of Sakha (Yakutia)) Varvara Ustinova; and State Councillor of the Republic of Tatarstan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Republican Fund for Restoration of Historical and Cultural Heritage of the Republic of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiyev.
