On April 29, a ceremony for presenting the Hero of Labour of the Russian Federation gold medals will take place in the Kremlin.
The President will present the awards to Sergei Antonov, head of the Fishing Armaments and Tackle Gear Department at Yuzhmorrybflot; Olga Bochkareva, hump yard operator at Inskaya railway station, a structural subdivision of the West Siberian Traffic Control Directorate, a subdivision of the Central Traffic Control Directorate, branch of Russian Railways; Nikolai Zharkov, adviser to General Director at Krasnoye Sormovo plant; Vasily Lanovoy, actor at the Vakhtangov State Academic Theatre; Iskhak Mashbashev, writer, Board Chairman of the Union of Writers of Adygea.
The title of the Hero of Labour was established in March 2013. It is awarded for outstanding achievements in public, social and economic activity; for contribution to the country’s socioeconomic development, including industrial production, agriculture, transport, construction, science, culture, education, healthcare and other areas.
