The 2016 Georgy Zhukov National Award in the field of military science was awarded to a team of authors for the military theoretical work Material and Technical Support of the Russian Army before and during World War I, which has made a contribution to developing military science, strengthening Russia’s armed forces and bolstering Russia’s defence capability.
The 2016 Georgy Zhukov National Award in the field of literature and the arts was awarded to a team of authors for creating a series of historical projects dedicated to the role of military financial specialists during the 1941–1945 Great Patriotic War.
