Deputy Chief of Staff of the Presidential Executive Office Magomedsalam Magomedov visited Lomonosov Moscow State University and took part in the national scientific conference Ethnic Policy in Modern Russia: Urgent Problems and Solutions.
Deputy Chief of Staff of the Presidential Executive Office Magomedsalam Magomedov had a working meeting with Rector of Lomonosov Moscow State University Viktor Sadovnichy. They discussed issues related to the implementation of the President’s instructions on further improving and developing the personnel training system in the area of state ethnic policy. In this context, a new chair – the chair of ethnic policy – will be established at the department of political science at the University.
After the meeting, Magomedsalam Magomedov and Viktor Sadovnichy opened the national scientific conference Ethnic Policy in Modern Russia: Urgent Problems and Solutions.
In his speech, Mr Magomedov noted that in Russia ethnic policy has always occupied and will occupy a special place in the process of state building and emphasised the importance of the relevant decisions by the President and their positive influence on the state of ethnic relations.
Following the conference, the participants adopted recommendations on practical and theoretical issues of ethnic policy.
