Vladimir Putin approved a list of instructions following the Council for Interethnic Relations meeting held on October 26, 2018.
The Russian Government has been instructed to develop, taking into account the changes made to the Strategy for the Russian Federation State Ethnic Policy through 2025, a plan of measures to implement the Strategy in 2019–2021.
In particular, the instructions to the Government concern the provision of financial support for ethnic and cultural associations and other non-profit organisations implementing Russia’s state ethnic policy and preserving the ethno-cultural features and the historical and cultural heritage of the peoples of Russia as well as natural heritage sites while implementing the Russian spatial development strategy.
