Dmitry Medvedev signed Executive Order On Presidential Council for Civil Society and Human Rights.
The Executive Order reorganises the Presidential Council for Civil Society Institutions and Human Rights into the Presidential Council for Civil Society and Human Rights in order to improve public policies on promoting and protecting human rights and freedoms, and to promote the development of civil society institutions.
Mikhail Fedotov has been appointed Chairman of the Presidential Council of the Russian Federation for Civil Society and Human Rights.
