The Federal Law will add to the Criminal Code an article introducing criminal penalties for slander, that is, for knowingly disseminating false information defaming the honour and dignity or undermining the reputation of another person. Also added to the Criminal Code is an article introducing criminal penalties for defamation of judges, jurors, prosecutors, investigators and investigative officials, and court bailiffs.
