Vladimir Putin signed Federal Law On Amendments to Article 31 of the Federal Law On Measures with Regard to Persons Involved in Violations of Basic Human Rights and Freedoms of Citizens of the Russian Federation.
Under the Federal Law, foreign or international non-governmental organisations, whose activities have been recognised as undesirable in the Russian Federation, are banned from establishing, or taking part in, legal entities in the Russian Federation.
