The President signed the Federal Law On the Ratification of the Convention on Legal Aid and Legal Relations in Civil, Family and Criminal Cases.
The Convention was signed in Chisinau on October 7, 2002.
The Convention will ensure legal protection of personal, proprietary and non-proprietary rights of citizens of each party to the Convention and other individuals living on their territories.
The Convention is also aimed at developing cooperation in providing aid to judicial authorities specialising in civil, family and criminal cases.
