Vladimir Putin signed Federal Law On Ratification of the Protocol on Amendments to the Convention on Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms of the Commonwealth of Independent States dated May 26, 1995.
The Protocol was signed in Astana on October 14, 2022.
The Protocol provides for the exclusion of Article 34 from the Convention, according to which the provision on the Commission on Human Rights of the Commonwealth of Independent States is an integral part of the Convention.
