Vladimir Putin signed Executive Order On Matters related to the Citizenship of the Russian Federation.
The executive order approves the Regulations governing the procedure for reviewing matters related to the citizenship of the Russian Federation, the Regulations on the procedure for administering the Oath of the Citizen of the Russian Federation and a sample form containing the text of the Oath of the Citizen of the Russian Federation.
The Government of the Russian Federation has been instructed to oversee the execution of measures designed to implement this executive order and to bring Government acts into compliance with this executive order. Similar instructions have been issued to the Foreign Ministry, the Defence Ministry, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, the Education Ministry, and the Federal Security Service.
