Dmitry Medvedev signed Federal Law on Ratification of Holidays with Pay Convention which sets out the rights of individuals to annual paid holidays.
The law ratifies the C132 Holidays with Pay Convention (revised in 1970), which was adopted by the 54th Session of the Governing Body of the International Labour Organisation on June 24, 1970, in Geneva and entered into force on June 30, 1973.
In Russia the legal provisions stipulated by the Convention are regulated by the Labour Code of the Russian Federation (Chapter 19).
Analysis has shown that Russian legislation, including the Labour Code, fully corresponds to the norms and regulations set out in the Convention.
