The President’s message reads, in part:

“Easter holidays fill the hearts of believers with special joy, love for their near and dear ones, and a desire to do good deeds and help the needy.

We are happy to see that under your leadership the Russian Orthodox Church is directing its service at the revival of traditional spiritual and moral values, at educating the younger generation, protecting family, motherhood and childhood, and undertakes the much demanded mission of consolidating society, harmonising inter-religious relations and strengthening understanding between people.”
