Vladimir Putin signed Federal Law On Amendments to Federal Law On Counteracting Extremist Activities.
The Federal Law establishes that the Bible, the Quran, the Tanakh and the Kangyur, which set the spiritual basis for Christianity, Islam, Judaism and Buddhism – religions that are an inseparable part of the historical heritage of the peoples of Russia – along with their contents and quotes therefrom, cannot be considered extremist materials.
