Vladimir Putin sent his greetings to participants and guests at the 14th World Russian Press Congress.
The message reads, in part:
“With every passing year your congress strengthens its status as an event and makes a big contribution to broadening the Russian-language information space. You bring together all who love our country and genuinely desire its successful development. You help to promote the Russian language and culture and create a positive image of Russia abroad. As this is Russian History Year, I hope that you will pay particular attention to the questions of history education, preserving our common historic memory, and cultivating respect for our national spiritual heritage.”
The World Russian Press Congress is an annual event that takes place in different countries. This year’s congress is taking place in Naples on September 23–27.
