June 10, 2013

Vladimir Putin will visit Russia Today television channel’s new studio centre on June 11, 2013.

The new centre, with total area of around 28,000 square metres, is one of the biggest and most modern in Europe. Russia Today started broadcasting in new high precision HD format from the new studios in December 2012. Its signal now goes out from the new centre to 630 million people in 100 different countries.

Russia Today produces five news channels broadcasting 24 hours a day. It has channels in English, Arabic and Spanish, the RT America channel, which broadcasts from its own studios in Washington DC, the RTD documentary channel, the Ruptly news video agency, which offers exclusive material to television channels around the world, and the rt.com multimedia platform.
