Vladimir Putin congratulated the team at Rossiyskaya Gazeta on the newspaper’s 25th anniversary.
The President said, in particular, in his message:
“Over these years, the newspaper has become one of Russia’s leading publications and has earned the respect of many readers and established an influential reputation in our country’s media community. The paper is valued for the fullness of the information it provides, its in-depth approach to covering important subjects and events, and its balanced and fact-based assessments. It is good to see that the team has kept up the quality of work over these years, remains true to the best traditions of journalism, and is expanding the range of information products, from publication of state documents to news coverage, reports and serious analysis.
I am sure that you will continue to work just as conscientiously, carry out important creative projects, and achieve success in your professional work.”
