Vladimir Putin congratulated the RTTV – Russia Today team on the 10th anniversary of its creation.
The message reads, in part:

At the same time you are open to all things new, you actively work on promising projects designed to help your multi-million foreign audience to get a better idea of this country with its history and culture and to get to know differing views on pressing current matters. This is why your media product generates sincere interest and maintains high quality standards.
I am certain that your television broadcasting company will continue developing successfully, remaining efficient and competitive and making a significant contribution to promoting Russian media abroad.”
The RT network consists of three global news channels broadcasting in English, Arabic and Spanish, RT America airing from a Washington, DC studio, RT UK broadcasting from London, a documentary channel RTDoc in English and Russian, online platforms in German and French, and a video news agency RUPTLY. Today RT has a global reach of over 700 million people in 100+ countries.
