Vladimir Putin signed Federal Law On Amendments to Articles 32 and 152 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Russian Federation.
The Federal Law specifies the rules for determining territorial jurisdiction of cases involving crimes against Russian citizens committed outside of Russia.
Implementing the provisions of the Federal Law will ensure the right to judicial protection for Russian citizens who are victims of crimes committed outside the Russian Federation, as well as those who have committed crimes outside the Russian Federation.
