Vladimir Putin signed a set of federal laws aimed at developing the judicial system in the Republic of Crimea and the Federal City of Sevastopol.
In particular, Federal Law On Creating Courts of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Crimea and the Federal City of Sevastopol stipulates the establishment of a Supreme Court of the Republic of Crimea and Arbitration Court of the Republic of Crimea, 24 district and city courts in the Republic of Crimea, the Arbitration Court of Sevastopol, the Sevastopol City Court, four district courts in Sevastopol, the Crimean Garrison Military Court and the Sevastopol Garrison Military Court.
The Federal Law will allow justice to be carried out in the Republic of Crimea and the Federal City of Sevastopol, as well as ensuring citizens’ constitutional rights of access to justice.
