Vladimir Putin submitted to the State Duma the draft Federal Law On Amending the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation and the Criminal Procedure Code of the Russian Federation.
The draft federal law aims to implement clause 6 of Presidential instructions following a meeting of the Presidential Council for Countering Corruption, held on January 26, 2015, and to enhance criminal liability for corruption-related offenses.
The draft law will increase the efficiency of countering bribery and other corruption-related offences and help bring persons who commit such crimes to justice.
