On February 9, Vladimir Putin will take part, via videoconference, in a meeting of judges of general jurisdiction and arbitration courts of the Russian Federation, to review the performance of the Russian judicial system in 2021 and its priority tasks in 2022.
The agenda includes matters of civil and administrative proceedings, current aspects of the use of criminal law and criminal procedure legislation, examples of disciplinary action against judges, and the hearing of various types of cases by military courts.
The meeting will be attended by judges of the Supreme Court and all general jurisdiction and arbitration courts, senior officials of the Judicial Department at the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation, and representatives of federal bodies of authority.
