The President will outline the basic budget policy objectives in the address.
The meeting participants will include the Prime Minister, members of both houses of the Federal Assembly, deputy prime ministers and federal ministers, Chairman of the Central Bank, and Chairman of the Accounts Chamber.
The practice of an annual presidential budget policy address to the Government Cabinet and the members of the Federal Assembly has existed since 2008.
The Government will use the President’s budget policy address as the basis for drawing up the draft budget for the period in question.
