Vladimir Putin signed the Federal Law On Amending Individual Legislative Acts of the Russian Federation.
The Federal Law on amending Federal Law On Privatisation of State and Municipal Property provides for the sale of state or municipal property over an electronic platform by this platform’s electronic commerce operator. The electronic platform and the e-commerce operator shall conform to the requirements stipulated by the Russian legislation.
In addition, this Federal Law makes individual amendments to the Federal Law On the Purchase of Goods, Works and Services by Certain Types of Legal Entities.
Specifically, the above Federal Law shall not be applicable to relations pertaining to the client’s implementation of a contract signed with a foreign legal entity for the delivery of goods, works and services, for the provision of services outside the Russian Federation, or for the purchase of goods, works and services by a legal entity that has been registered in a foreign state for the purpose of its operation in a foreign state.
