Dmitry Medvedev signed federal laws on microfinance activities and microfinance institutions and on the specifics of property title alienation for real estate owned by federal or municipal authorities and rented by small businesses.
The first law creates a legal foundation for a new type of financial institution that will issue relatively small loans, thus stimulating the financing of small businesses.
The second law grants a three-year extension for the law on the specifics of property title alienation for real estate owned by federal or municipal authorities and rented by small businesses.
