The head of VTB Bank briefed Vladimir Putin on the establishment of the Post Bank, a joint project between the VTB Group and Russian Post.
According to Mr Kostin, over 40,000 branches of Russian Post will be used to create the Post Bank throughout the country, which will provide convenient access to banking services for about 15 million individuals who did not previously have this opportunity. According to Andrei Kostin’s assessment, retirees will account for about half of the new potential clients. All of this will serve to improve the structure of the postal service itself.
