The President signed the Federal Law On the Purchasing by the Government of the Russian Federation from the Central Bank of the Russian Federation of Sberbank of Russia Public Joint Stock Company Equities and On Revoking Certain Provisions of the Law of the Russian Federation.”
The Federal Law establishes the procedure for the Central Bank’s alienation of its PAO Sberbank equities by selling them to the Government of the Russian Federation as a federal executive body, which performs the functions of developing state policy and legal regulation in the area of budgeting, taxation, insurance, and currency and banking activities.
