The President signed the Federal Law On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of the Russian Federation.
The Federal Law grants the Board of Directors of the Bank of Russia the authority to determine the list of types of foreign currency that can be used as payment for the authorised capitals of lending organisations, insurance organisations and non-public pension funds.
In addition, the Board of Directors of the Bank of Russia is granted the right to establish the maximum amount of the share of the authorised capital of a lending organisation, an insurance organisation or a non-public pension fund that can be paid in foreign currency, as well as the type of foreign currency used for these purposes.
