Dmitry Medvedev signed Federal Law On Amendments to Article 5 of the Federal Law On Science and Scientific and Technical State Policy and to Article 171 of the Federal Law On Protection of Competition.
The Federal Law is aimed at supporting economic entities which implement in practice research and intellectual labour results (software, databases, inventions, breeding achievements, knowhow, integrated circuit topographies, etc.) which are exclusively owned by state and municipal higher education institutions or state research institutions that established these businesses.
