Vladimir Putin signed the Federal Law On the Russian Scientific Fund and Amendments to particular Russian Federation Legislative Acts.
The federal law defines the legal status, powers and functions of the Russian Scientific Fund and sets the procedures for its management and formation of its assets.
The Fund is being established to support fundamental and exploratory research and develop leading research teams in particular scientific fields.
