A group of scholars from the Russian Academy of Sciences will present to the President their vision of the country’s future social and economic development.
The President of the Russian Academy of Sciences Vladimir Fortov and a number of renowned economists will deliver a report on scenarios for building a successful and modern economy in Russia. It is expected that in the course of the discussion, an assessment will be made of the current social and economic situation in the country. In addition, proposals will be presented on the possible ways of stimulating the economy, investment and demand, the existing reserves that would make it possible, as well as measures to enhance Russia’s foreign economic policy.
Also taking part in the meeting will be representatives of the economic bloc in the Russian Government: Minister of Economic Development Alexei Ulyukayev, Finance Minister Anton Siluanov and Governor of the Bank of Russia Elvira Nabiullina.
