Dmitry Medvedev sent his greetings to participants and guests of the Tver Social and Economic Forum Information Society.
The message reads, in part:
“I welcome you to the forum in Tver, which has brought together leading representatives from various agencies and companies, as well as experts and analysts. You will not only be discussing the current state of information technologies in Russia, but also formulating long-term plans for further efforts at both federal and regional levels. The role of information technologies is constantly growing in modern society. Their use promotes improvements in governance and increases the quality of the services offered to citizens. They serve to resolve challenges in modernising our economy and in implementing an innovation development model.
I expect that the recommendations made by the Forum’s participants will contribute to achieving our national objectives.
I wish you success and all the very best.”
