Vladimir Putin sent greetings to participants, organisers and guests at the Second International Engineering Technologies 2012 Forum.
The telegram reads, in part:

The large-scale exposition that vividly demonstrates the newest examples of military and civil technologies, introduces promising projects and initiatives aimed at modernising production capacity and increasing the competitiveness of the products being released, deserves particular attention from professionals.
I am confident that your rich and varied agenda will draw the attention and interest of specialists from different nations, promoting the development of international cooperation in the high-tech, knowledge-intensive sectors of the economy.
